Is this class beginner friendly?
Yes, quilting is perfect for beginner sewists. It’s a good idea to have a basic understanding of how to operate your sewing machine. You will have access to our Youtube instructionals on sewing machine basics.
Is there an age requirement?
This class is open to children and adults.
What will I need for class?
A few of the basics you will need for class include: sewing machine, straight pins + pin cushion, small scissors, iron + ironing board. (Adult students may want to also have a rotary cutter + self healing mat – I don’t suggest these items for younger students.)
Are fabrics included?
Yes, we will provide you with precut block kits for each week for a total of 12 unique blocks.
Are Zoom meetings available?
Yes, you have the opportunity to schedule private zoom sessions if you need additional help/instruction with completing your blocks.
