This Thimble Bee’s True Beginner Series is THE “everything you need to know about sewing basics” course that will give you the skills and confidence to set you on your way to meeting your sewing goals.
In this series, you will get to know the functions and threading of your sewing machine, all basic machine sewing skills and everything you need to know about fabrics, marking, pinning, cutting and pressing.
During week one you will learn how to thread your sewing machine and begin basic sewing skills! You will complete a small project each week sure to inspire you!
MORNING SESSIONS available this Spring, students meet once a week for four weeks. Class will be held Wednesdays from 9am-11am. Choose from one of the sessions below:
January 25-February 15
February 22-March 15
March 22-April 19
EVENING SESSIONS available this Spring, students meet once a week for four weeks. Class will be held on Thursdays from 7pm-9pm. Choose from one of the sessions below:
January 26-February 16
February 23-March 16
March 23-April 20
Projects: Trivet, storage tray, + simple side satchel
$105 per student + $15 pattern packet fee
Seats are reserved on a first come-first serve basis. Payment of $120 secures your seat in class.
Open Sew is available on the 4th Monday of each month for students who miss a weekly class and need a makeup.
Thimble Bee’s reserves the right to cancel a class due to low enrollment.
Students will be provided a supply list prior to class. Students are expected to provide their own materials/fabrics for each project. Sewing machines and sewing tools are provided free of charge at our studio.
