This Thimble Bee’s True Beginner Series is THE “everything you need to know about sewing basics” course that will give you the skills and confidence to set you on your way to meeting your sewing goals.
In this series, you will get to know the functions and threading of your sewing machine, all basic machine sewing skills and everything you need to know about fabrics, marking, pinning, cutting and pressing.
During week one you will learn how to thread your sewing machine and begin basic sewing skills!
MORNING SESSIONS students meet once a week for four weeks. Class will be held Wednesdays from 10:30am-12pm. Choose from one of the sessions below:
January 10 – January 31
March 7 – March 28
EVENING SESSIONS students meet once a week for four weeks. Class will be held on Mondays from 7pm-8:30pm. Choose from one of the sessions below:
February 5 – February 26
Projects: Simple Drawstring Bag + additional project will be provided if time allows
$90 + $5 pattern fee
Seats are reserved on a first come-first serve basis. Payment of $95 secures your seat in class.
Thimble Bee’s reserves the right to cancel a class due to low enrollment.
Students will be provided a supply list prior to class. Students are expected to provide their own materials/fabrics for each project. Sewing machines and sewing tools are provided free of charge at our studio.
